Do I Have To Be A Christian To Join ChristianLance?
We strongly encourage Christian webmasters/programmers to join and use our services. However, some members join regardless of their faith background, there is no way for us to know for sure if a member truly holds to Christian beliefs nor can we force members to agree with our Statement of Faith . However, our prayer is that members will have a positive experience working with/for Christians, that perhaps, it will lead them to examine Christianity and eventually accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

How Can ChristianLance Help Programmers?
If you are a Freelance Programmer and would like to offer your services to those who need custom programming, whether it be Perl or PHP, or installation, logos, and other types of work, we can help you find the right job. Browse the list of projects posted by businesses for the ones you would be insterested in, or have ChristianLance send you an e-mail anytime a new project is posted that fits under your expertise. Then you can decide to place a bid on the project, as well as provide details of the work you can do. Update or retract your bid anytime you want. When the project creator chooses a Programmer (winning bid) you will be notified. If you are chosen you can begin work on the project and get paid.

How Much Does It Cost?
Christianlance.com does not charge signup fees, membership fees, and no monthly fee. However, there is a minimal commission on each completed project. The commission is only 3% of the bid amount or minimum of $2.00, whichever is greater. Both project creator (Webmaster) and winning bidder (Programmer) will be assessed the 3% fee.

For Example: If a Programmer made a bid for $70 on a project, 3% (or $2.10) of that amount will be charged to his/her ChristianLance account if he/she was chosen for this project. The Webmaster/ Project Creator will also pay 3%.

What is "bid for the total project"?
This is the amount (in U.S. dollars) that you will charge the project creator, if you are chosen. It's a project total, NOT an hourly rate.
[

What if I can't make an accurate bid? Can I just estimate how much I will charge for the project?
You should not make any estimates. The information provided should be enough to decide how long it will take you to finish the project. If there is not enough info, use the message board to ask additional questions to the project creator before placing your bid. Remember, by placing a bid you enter into a legally binding contract. If you abuse this system you risk receiving poor reviews by others, and possibly being banned from ChristianLance.

Do I have to be paid for projects through my ChristianLance account?

The ChristianLance payment system is optional and provided for your convenience.
